Teaching

Lisa teaches undergraduate and graduate course in rhetorical and communication theory and in her specialty areas of the rhetoric of science, medicine, and health. She also recently began to co-teach an intensive Maymester Travel Study course in Beijing, Narratives of the New China, for which she has started to learn Mandarin. As Director of Graduate Studies for the Department of Communication, she also oversees the pedagogical development of the Department’s graduate students.
